The more I listen to carnivore influencers, the more I hear the long term carnivores begin developing food intolerances.
Richard Smith mentioned he can no longer tolerate any caffeine without getting cluster headaches.
I wanted to tell him that dryfasting can sometimes heal food intolerances, but became aware I don't actually know how that happens or how long that would take to happen.
Tallis Barker mentioned somewhere on his website that very long water fasts (upwards of 21 days) can also reverse food intolerances.
- What are your experiences, with regards to regaining the ability to eat a balanced diet?
I know the mechanisms at play for how this happens and is reversed can be maddening to understand and separate, I'm more thinking from a practical standpoint, with how long of a fast, how to refeed, how many cycles etc.
