chronic-illness.ca is vetted by me and has been used successfully in many people. If you have any questions email them directly, they save lives.
Yes, I know about them.
the problem is, according to preliminary estimates, it will cost me about one and a half salaries.
And the process will include completely impractical things, such as flying to another city to pick up a parcel, because I couldnt find a service capable of circumventing sanctions and delivering it to my island.
So its definitely not an option, at least Im not that rich.
What I can do is, in theory, get access to regular t3. but it seems that this will also be a big quest, because judging by the information I found, hypothyroidism is similar to a death sentence in Russia - we dont have t3 at all, and t4 is useless for 10-80% of patients. If there were a lot of "unofficial" methods before 22nd year, now it is either too expensive because of sanctions, or it does not arouse much confidence because of the high probability of substandard drugs. it seems that now there are people who can send t3 by internal mail, but Im not sure about the prices, because even before the 22nd year, I could eat quite richly for at least 10 days for the price of a small package. Its probably even less rational now.
What I can get is beef thyroid powder. Its inexpensive and even produced in my area.
Do you think it makes sense ?
the problem is tissue level resistance to t3 from chronic stress/ fatty acids, dysfunctional metabolism, genetics, or all together in a perfect storm. read this part: https://scorchprotocol.com/t3-therapy.html
I did. what caused the doubt is
Is This Therapy Right for You?
Main Requirements (You must have these)
1. Low Waking Temperature: Is your temperature consistently below 36.5°C (97.7°F) first thing in the morning? This is the main sign your metabolism is slow.
2. Low Heart Rate: Is your resting heart rate below 72 beats per minute? This also suggests a slow metabolism.
Warning: If your heart rate is above 90 beats per minute, you must talk to a doctor before starting this.
My temperature and pulse are usually above normal a bit, around 36.8-37°C and 75-90 bpm.
HR may drop down to 60 and temperature may rise noticeably while fasting.
In summer, numbers can rise, especially the heart rate, up to 90-100.
The only thing that matches is cold hands. occasionally they may even be blue. But only in summer and does not extend to the feet.

Was able to find an even better option: raw beef thyroid.
The necks should be available by Tuesday, so I'll try to extract and cook a couple.
Judging by the article about T3 therapy, it may be useful.

Can you fly or take a train to Bulgaria? they have a great market for generic pharmaceuticals for cheap, very cheap T3, I know a bunch of Europeans that get it from there.. Im not sure how it is working for travel with Russia on sanctions.

I cant afford this in the near future, flight is only possible through Turkey, but i think its possible in the future.
Also, have a feeling that, in theory, I can ask someone to send t3 by mail. usure, havent gone deeper yet.
Thanks for the tip!
